Mariia joined SEGALEN+ASSOCIES in September 2022 as an Executive Search intern in the Paris office and now serves as an Associate. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. During her studies, she spent a semester abroad at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and a full academic year in France. Following this experience, she decided to settle in Paris and joined SEGALEN+ASSOCIES.
She gained her first professional experience in accounts payable during an internship at Citibank, then continued at Mazars as a Junior Accountant within the Outsourced Accounting Services department, where she strengthened her expertise.
She works with a range of asset managers, including private equity, growth capital, infrastructure, and real estate funds. Her scope covers a variety of roles: investment, investor relations and fundraising, senior advisors and operating partners, portfolio management within funds, as well as CFO and CHRO positions within companies. She also supports governance-related assignments by working closely with Partners.
Outside of work, Mariia is passionate about singing and has performed on stage. She practices yoga daily and, during the summer holidays, enjoys hiking and discovering new countries.
